for Large Orchestra.  Duration: approx. 11′

(currently in revision – score coming soon)

Program Notes:

Another water-themed piece, Eau describes the beauty and terror that can be found in the dark waters of the Chippewa River that flows through the campus of UW-Eau Claire.  During the summer months, the water is warm and inviting, and the surrounding landscape is indescribably picturesque.  However, in the bitter winter months well known to the local Wisconsinites, the treacherous reputation of the black and ominous waters are anything but alluring.
